Love is limitless, love is pure, love is a blessing. Provided that the love is invested in a right place.

There are many stories, true stories of love. And names that went down in the history as symbolic identities of love.
There is no perfect verbal representation of love, perfect in it's own way. Just love.

Even I write pages and pages about love, it's just an introduction.

Below is a poem, which am trying to do the same, a small introduction to peek into the love.

There was a couple in some city, those were the second World War days. When the army needed men. The guy decided to join them. He exactly knows it's a hard life with the troops. But, he decided to go.

The girl didn't accept this, but it is for the sake of the country. So she let him go.

Days and weeks passed by, months and years passed by. She is still cherished in those moments, when they were together.
She says her love in the following way to herself, to comfort herself and strengthen the perseverance.
World's Showcase - A love worth giving

My dear love, it's the love song
  which brought us together.
When we were listening to it,
each second was a pleasure.

Now, my loneliness trying to
take my pleasure, but I let it not.
When I went to the tree, where we
sculpted our names.

The trees began to say me,
your love is near to you.
When I go to bed at night,
those stars in the sky said, count us and go to bed, for there is hope.

When I woke up in the morning.
The smell of freshly blossomed flowers remind me of your scent.
The sweet songs of birds, reminded me of your voice.

When I saw the rocky mountains,
They proclaimed me your daring nature.
The love and caring you have for me,
is unexplainable and incomparable.

I don't know how much time it takes.
To unite with you my love.
My love for you will get refreshed everyday,
with or without your presence.

For this is what we learnt from the love song.
This is what I am ready to face.
My perseverance will not be ashamed.
For I know a day, when I lay in your arms.

She wasn't a poet, she didn't searched for any cache words in the poetry, didn't bother about the lines and rhyming.
She called it a poem and it became a poem.

Ending :

She became old, but still she waited for her love. The war ended, those who went with her boyfriend were returned to their homes. She inquired about him, but no use.
They said they've never seen him. Some said he never joined any troop. Those words didn't let her lose the love for him.

She moved to the other city, she adopted a child. She took care of him. Then one day, in a newspaper, there was a news about the few youngsters, who has sacrificed their lives to help the soldiers to cross the enemy border. Among those men, a guy laid his body on the nails, allowed the soldiers to march over his body to cross the border and kill the enemies.

He died the very first day he went away from his love. And after the death of her, she was buried beside his grave. They're one now.

Moral :

Love never asks for life, never asks to prove, it never provokes. The only thing is, it is hard to know which is true love.
We've seen different kinds of love, love of family, siblings, a boy and girl, pets etc. All these are different from the other. Central theme is love.

Love has to be valued, it is the covenant with ourselves. Our own identities and principles, when this love makes us happy, then it's from the good. If it makes us to question ourselves, then it's from bad.

World has only two powers, one is good and the other is bad. Only these two will answer us when we question. Taking the good and leaving the bad is best thing to do.

Bullying - World's Showcase
Background image is the credit of

Bullying - this word is very familiar with all of us. There is no particular place for it, bullying is everywhere. From a school going kid to the university student, everybody knows exactly what is bullying and may have experienced this in their lives.

Bullying is defined as an act, which is to intimidate someone with strength or force. This is showing the domination.

How bullying effects a person?

Bullying impacts any person of any age. The truth is it effect both the one who is bullying and the one who is bullied. And also to those who encourages this.

It disturbs a person irrespective of age and gender, impacts the mental health condition and also a physical abuse.

These impacts will be the outputs in the future. After entering into a matured stage, these scars of bullying will remain as the nightmares in the victim's life. They'll haunt everywhere.

Inferiority complex and social anxiety disorders increases. This is more than any torture.

Who gets bullied?

The answer would be, anyone at anywhere. A person first encounters with bullying when he/she is in the school.
It all starts with some kind of fun, but it becomes very serious in the end.
Bullying is not limited to those school walls, their wings are wide spread. It's impact increases with the age.

Even at offices there is bullying. It's like gaining upper hand over the other. Even words which hurts others is also a bullying.

Impact of bullying and why to say 'no' to it :

At school level, kids develop their skills and learn the basics. They learn both the real world experience and book knowledge. When they are haunted by any other kid, their mindset switches them to afraid to such people in their entire life. They will never accept to be in such situations again. They develop hatred and violence against those kind of bullies.

Their creativity is buried and they can't express their feelings because of getting bullied.
School managements and college managements in a collaborative way with the government are taking steps to prevent this bullying. Since this is not a spontaneous result, it will take time to implement and follow the methods.

Extreme bullying will lead to suicide and it's a crime.

Knowing all these effects of bullying, all are negative. There is a need to keep a check for this.

Already many such steps are taken, we're happy for that.
Let's see what more we can do.

Types of Bullying :

Based on the areas, bullying is different types. It's main theme is to devalue the victim, but there are forms.
Cyber bullying and direct bullying both are different. Cyber bullying is only done on the social networks, most of the youngsters are prey to this.

Direct bullying is done offline. It's a face to face one.

The Role Of Family In Rising Up Against Bullying :

Family is where everything begins. It is the place which feels so comfortable and we only learn many things being in a family.

All the moral values, behaviour and respect are taught in the family. It's like an environment which teach a kid to move on with some respect in the society. Family plays a very important role in designing a child's future and shaping him/her.

The Father is the head of the family. He takes all the responsibility of his kids. He must not live the teaching part to the mom, because ladies are busy with homework. When coming to teach the kid, both have to take an equal share. But, if father takes more, it will be better.

Falling back to the bullying, kids won't complain about this at home if the parents are very strict, but not friendly. They won't share anything with parents because of the fear.
Few parents think that they are controlling their kids with the fear, no, it's a big mistake because that fear will one day make them to commit a mistake.

Developing a very friendly nature with children will lead them under the parents' sight. Allow them to share their opinion and value them. No matter how silly they seem to be, they've that right to share.

When the home is like real home, kids those who are bullying others and those who are getting bullied can be controlled.

It's in the hands of a family, to make a kid a good or bad.

If we observe the social networks, there are many celebrity accounts. In those accounts we see many comments, many are abusive. We can't even read them out sometimes, why? Because of their rude and vulgarity.
When we see who are they commenting in such a bad way, 70% of them are teenagers. What's going wrong? And where is this all beginning?

When a guy compliments an actress, it's okay! But, when he bully her and makes that as his habit. What's next? He'll do that soon in real life too. That means he is close to crime.

Both the parents may be busy with their daily jobs and tasks. But, they must not ignore their kids.
In both the cases, if they ignore a victim they are not helping him. If they ignore the bad guy, they are preparing an anti-society weapon.
Bullying World's Showcase

I don't think the launch of many anti-bullying committees and projects will get down this evil. Everything's in family.
If family involved then it can be done.

Nothing is unstoppable, there is a solution and on this issue the solution and the answer lies with the family.

We've seen many lives which has ended because of the bullying, suicides and forcible killing. All these are asking us, is there any change yet? Can the people with the similar mindset of them survive today? Or are they going to die like they did?

We, together can build that world. Where the talent don't get buried because of the bullying. Where there is no freedom of expression and abusive language increases, we can cut them all.

What's the need when we say publically that kid is injurious to the society. What's the need to hang them up after the damage has been done.

Role of educational system :

Today's educational system is completely focused on the grades. They only prepare the kids to get good grades, but not the moral values.
The teaching is only limited to textbooks, there will be no lessons on how to behave in the society when one is out of school.
There are lessons which teach children the respect and increase the personality development. But, they aren't taught that effectively.

Education must not limit to the paper works and subject knowledge. It must be applied in the real life. The lessons must teach us to face the real problems with the problem solving nature. Is there any such educational system?

Prevention is better than cure. Let's act, let's move together.
Build a world where every individual feel responsible for the consequences around him/her.

Are you up against bullying?

P.S : This topic is encouraged by three of my Indonesian friends Mpuzz, Riany and Roui. Few of the above points are pointed by them. Thanks to you 😊

She book review World's Showcase

'She' is one of those books which will create a thought in our hearts. Which will make us to question the society.

This is the battle for an identity and fetching the meaning of existence. Overall 'She' is a good read.

This book doesn't elongate the topic or the story, it is an undying passion for a person's life, her love, and aspirations.

What we can see in this book is love, tradition of Kolkata and their respect. A fight with one's own questions.

What can we learn from 'She - Ekla Cholo Re'  :

Not one, but many things we can learn from this book. In spite of being a short read, this book teaches us to love and respect the person, who is not a 'he' or 'she'.

'She' is originated from the writing of Rabindranath Tagore's song anthology Baul, published in Bhandar magazine in 1905 "Ekla Cholo Re"

This book has 3 main characters, one is Kusum and the other is Prof. Rajendra. Third one will be introduced further.
After giving a lift to Kusum by Raj, who is passing by the road in his car. Kusum agrees to get in his car and then the story sets on track.

The conversation between Kusum and Raj is the central theme of the story. The story is all about Kusum.

In to the story :-

As the story is set in a Bengali tradition, we can see the Bengali culture here, the way they respect and love. Their dressing sense and food items.

After picking up Kusum, Raj takes her to his home where his mom invites them both, mistaking that Raj married Kusum. Later, she gets to know who she is.

After this, they both back into the car and Kusum seem to be very calm and quiet.
When Raj asks her about this, Kusum replies that she misses her mother.

Then Raj thinks that her mother had passed away, later he came to know it's not that.
Then he asks her what's the reason for not visiting her mother.
Kusum feels comfortable to share her past with Raj, and opens up herself to him.

"- Some said that since the child is soft, she must be a girl while others felt that I am a boy. As I grew up, I realized that it's so difficult to interact with a person without knowing the gender. May be we are programmed like that! A program that runs to mention the social aspects of one's biological sex and behaviours associated with it. In the name of 'culture,' I was taught the do's and dont's of gender traits."

Knowing Raj is a complete stranger, Kusum trusted him. And then shared her sad past, where she don't fit into the conventional male female category.

The domination of gender is seen in her father's actions. She shared that all with Raj.

"Often, my father rebuked me by saying, 'God made his mistake by making you a boy.' He would punish me for any activity that had femininity attached to it or doing any 'girly stuff'. While I was punished, I was not supposed to cry and was forced to shut all my emotions. This often got replaced with feelings of anger towards him and impending grudges against him."

Kusum is deep down and distressed with her father's behaviour. She said that they were forced to accompany to his several conferences and were presented as his token of victory and a mark of his fake and empty pride.

A big turn in Kusum's life :

After Dr. Banerjee's son, Debu, who is the neighbour of Kusum came into her life. She began to develop feelings for him.

Debu also loved Kusum, but did they got married? Or are they got separated?

His entry into her life took her to take a big turn. Since they loved each other, wished to get married, but Dr. Banerjee opposed this since it's inception.

Kusum decided to undergo sex change operation, this idea is from Debu. Because she is dying to be with Debu, even her father forced to ask female friends to out on special parties, Kusum still wanted Debu badly.

Debu became a successful doctor, his father is proud of him and he won't bring his own family under the shade of such shameful act by accepting their love.

"Jodi Sobai thake muhk phirae,
Sobai kore bhoye,
Tobe poran khule, O tuimukh phute tor moner kotha,
Ekla bolo re ... Ekla Cholo Re"

( If no one talks to you, O my unlucky friend,
If no one speaks to you,
If everyone looks the other way and everyone is
afraid, Then bare your soul and let out what is in your
mind, (be not afraid)
Speak alone my friend ... (be not afraid) walk alone
my friend.)

"Debu hugged me one last time as I continued to hum these lines while tears rolled down my eyes. He said 'sorry' as he stepped out of my house..."

This is the dark in Kusum's life, abandoned and then set to face the thorns of society. She transformed into the real 'She' and moving on.

After hearing this all and her attitude, Raj fell for her and proposes her. Then Kusum rejects it directly, because she says that she ain't ready to take another pain.
She book review World's Showcase

Why you should read 'She'

The current world is with lot of social issues, we never know from where we have to hear a bad news. There's no guarantee for anyone or anything.

In this world, when a person like Kusum takes a step to live a life, society view is completely different on such person.

They have right to live, so who has authority to stop it? Once they search for their identity, they'll move on. And no person must try to stop any of such revolutionary steps. We can see that confidence and spirit of never giving up.

What happened next???

Kusum talked about the 'real acceptance' Raj assured her of that, but still she said a no.
At the end of the story there is a twist, it is the spine of the entire story. What is it? Let's see that by reading 'She - Ekla Cholo Re.'

Jesus Christ is the main theme for Christianity, He didn't preached any religion, but he preached the righteousness and practised it. He showed a way to walk in the light.

Preaching The Gospel :

Most of the Christians strongly believe that preaching is the only way to spread the Gospel. If we discuss this, God never ordered to preach the Gospel, Jesus said to spread the word to the world. Does it means that every Christian must become a preacher?

What does Jesus's words means in the following verse
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

He said to preach the Gospel, it didn't mean that every Christian must turn into an Evangelical minister.

In these days, Evangelism is based on materialistic mindset, commercialist view. Even we experience the miracles, they are not from the God, but from the Satan.

Though there are many indifferences in the Christian Faith, it is believed that there are these five rock basement principles, on which the term, Christian is stood from ages.
  1. One God, yet God is three distinct persons. The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
  2. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
  3. Jesus Christ is the substitute sacrifice of our sins. He is the saviour.
  4. Jesus died on the cross and rose from dead on 3rd day.
  5. We are saved by Grace and by faith in Jesus Christ alone.

When does a preacher fails?

One thing is true here that, preachers on earth are the same human beings like you and me. They are tend to temptations and all kinds of same lustful desires like a common human being.

Their dedication and deep study on the scriptures will help them to preach. This is related to a mental thinking and physical behaving.

Not because of the Holy Spirit nor with the direct conversation with the Heavenly Father.
One who preaches like: come follow Jesus and ease your pain and debts, oh! This isn't a Gospel.

Knowing God is a very personal thing. Even when someone induced lot of preaching in to the mind of a person, only when God touches his heart, then only that particular person is said to be saved.

This isn't a priest and person relationship, this is God and person relationship.
Am not condemning any preacher or their preachings. But, am only creating a true meaning to the Gospel.

The preacher fails when he is unable to create a strong bond with God and when he preaches which is not from the God. This is a misleading.

The Influence Of Televangelism :

In this technology driven world, televangelism influences many people. It is the medium run on our televisions.
Now, it's world of Androids, so here I can call it as Androvangelism, where our mobile phones plays an important role in listening or watching the devotionals.

Androvangelism and Youth :

When we come to the Android devices, they accept both good and bad.
While we browse for an inspirational message from an Evangelist or someone, there are many distractions. Like lot of explicit content through the advertisements.

Being young, it is easy to get attracted and then tempted to those content.
Even we may fall for them, once or twice.
Because of the human nature, we are not invincible. But, we must dwell in the technology, besides learn to face that temptation with the word of God. If you run away you lost, if you fall for it you lost.

So, avoiding the internet isn't an answer, but self control is important.

We must be aware of what we believe and why we believe. Anytime be ready to answer the questions which are related to your faith.
After all, it's the faith which fuels your spirit.

So, when a preacher fails to guide you through the truth. It's your duty to make a contact with Jesus, it's not his deeds taking you to Heaven, but yours.

You are yourself a preacher, think about it, following the Holy Bible and implementation of the words and works in them in your life.

'Christian' is not a name plate, it's a title only won after a long battle through hardships.

May the Lord God bless you all abundantly, Amen!
